Cascade Aids Project
Cascade AIDS Project (CAP) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to prevent HIV infections, support and empower people living with or affected by HIV, and eliminate HIV-related stigma and health disparities.
Roger That updated CAP’s visual brand and built a new website that better reflects CAP’s diverse community. The new aesthetic features a vibrant color scheme and warm photography style to welcome CAP clients to a site optimized for their needs.
Many of the visual cues for the new CAP site originated from the organization’s vibrant personality and existing event branding. Roger That highlighted its diverse users in a positive and motivational light.
4. UI elements
The user interface compliments the overall design aesthetic of the CAP brand with its clean simplicity. We continued the trend of “hard edges” in all the on-page elements.
5. Final site
The final site supports CAP’s mission by bringing all of its communities together through improved navigation and content strategy.
2. Color & typography
The updated CAP color palette is bright and welcoming as well as bold and eye-catching in order to reflect CAP’s steadfast support of its community. We selected typography with user accessibility in mind, hence the clear sans serif choice.
3. User experience
We used wireframe templates and page description diagrams to guide the design process. We ultimately identified and designed five unique page types to create a seamless browse.
